5 Way Switch Wiring Strat. The 5 way strat switch uses a blade to connect or wipe across the terminals fig. This variation allows you to keep the standard functionality of a fender strat while experimenting with different tone values for your bridge tone.

Next solder the hot wire of the bridge pickup to stage 2 tab 1 of the 5 way switch then solder the ground wire to the back of the volume control.
