Ic 7485 Magnitude Comparator. Spice simulation of a 8 bit comparator implemented with two 4 bit comparator 7485. The cascading inputs come from the outputs of another 7485.
Three fully decoded deci sions about two 4 bit words a b are made and are exter nally available at three outputs. The ic has the following pin diagram fig. As for the last line of the truth table the outputs indicate that the a inputs are simultaneously greater and less than the b inputs which is contradictory.
