Light Sensor Circuit Using Lm358. The figure underneath shows two circuit diagrams of light and dark sensors utilizing lm358 ic. Lm358 consists of two independent high gain frequency compensated operational amplifiers designed to operate from a single supply over a wide range of voltages.
The circuit is based on lm358 ic which is an op amp with an operating voltage range of 3v to 32v which is suitable to work with most micro controllers of logic level 5v or 3 3v. You just need to replace an ldr with phototransistor or photodiode the circuit simply works. The ldr is connected to the non inverting terminal of the op amp and each time light is detected by the circuit it generates a high pule across the output and the led turns on.
Dark and light indicator circuit using ic lm358 in this project we are going to make a day and night indicator or dark and light indicator which will indicate if there is a dark or light in the surroundings.
